How I made my background!

Hey everyone Laura here!  I love these papers and I love to alter my pages a bit so the two worked perfectly together!  I thought I would show how I made the background on a couple of my layouts!

You will need;
a mask
mists
paper towel
molding paste
old credit card or paint spatula

so figure out where you want your mask at

then add your molding paste and spread it using your credit card

carefully lift the mask

allow to dry

once dry, spray your mists

and add other colors

bunch your paper towel and dab your sprayed areas

you can repeat if you think you need more color

To finish I added some gesso around the edge of the paper

Here is the finished result!

I also used this technique on these backgrounds with this months kit!

Thanks for stopping by and I can't wait to see your creations!

  3. Laura, what is the sort of small grid pattern down beneath the molding paste made from? BTW I love this whole "shebang". Just wondering how to fit that one step in. Thanks so much!❤️👏
