February ScrapThat! Creations by Sandi Smith

Hi everyone...Sandi S here today to share my February ScrapThat! Creations in just a little more detail.
Made with Main Kit and Mixed Media from my stash.
Here is my first layout and it is based on Amy's sketch and I used just the main kit. I felt it was long overdue to do a layout of my son and can you believe it...not a flower to be seen! I did some masking, random stamping and sewing to get a grungy masculine look. Here are a few closeups:

This is my sweet girl on her first day of Grade 8.I think I went overboard with this one. In the kit there is a very pretty square doily. I sprayed the doily with orange and pink mists  and then folded three of the corners towards the center to make an envelope. I tucked my picture inside and went crazy with the flowers.

My last layout is of DD on the day of her Kindergarten graduation.
I know I have scrapped this before but the photo went so well with these papers.I did some fussy cutting and added lots of flowers.A few more closeups:

I also used some beautiful bling from Flourish With a Bling.
The Grace Flourish in Pink was a perfect match!! I just cut it in pieces and tucked into my floral clusters.
There are currently two challenges happening at ScrapThat!
Head on over and check them out!
Happy Scrapping!
