heart embellie tutorial by Amarilys

Happy Valentine's Day! Amarilys here and today I want to share with you a quick tutorial on how to make the heart embellie that I used in my B.F.F layout. This heart embellie is super fast and easy to make so let's get started!

Supplies:

• Kaisercraft Wood Heart
• Basically Bare Heart
• tiny pink rosebuds
• Smooch -Shabby Pink
• BoBunny Jewels (dark grey pearls)
• Life’s Little Occasions Alpha Stickers (black heart)

Step 1. Color your heart canvas with the Smooch paint included in the kit and let it dry (approximately 30 minutes).


Step 2. Add the wooden Kaisercraft heart over the dry canvas heart.


Step 3. Grab the three rosebuds and twist them together to make a small vine. Curl the ends to make a small coil. Add to the wooden heart as shown using a glue dot.


Step 4. To finish it off, add three dark grey pearls to the wooden heart and a black sticker embellie heart to the rosebuds to cover the glue dot.

ScrapThat! Kit February Creations by Amarilys Doria

Amarilys here today sharing with you the projects that I made with the February Kit "With Love". This kit is simply gorgeous and filled to the rim with scrappy goodies!

My first layout is based on my sketch for ScrapThat! February Kit.

(Everyone is welcome to participate, all entries due by February 20th)

My first layout is actually a wedding layout.

I used the Main Kit, The Embellishment Add On and Flower Add On for this layout. The lace and bling are from the June ScrapThat! Kit that I still had leftovers. The leaves, butterflies and title are all handmade by me. Picture is from my wedding day.

My second layout is about my new niece, Amy Helen!

This layout is based on Prima's January BAP sketch. I used the Main Kit only for this layout. The doily is from my stash. These are pictures of baby Amy Helen, born earlier this year to my best friend Hanay. I went to meet the baby just 10 days after she was born and of course had to do a mini photo-shoot with her. She's so sweet!

My third layout is of my best friend and her newborn baby girl and I went to see her.

I used the Main Kit, The Embellishment Add On and Flower Add On for this layout. I used the BoBunny Jewels from last month's kit for my butterfly's bodies, rhinestone title and stickles from my stash. Everything else is included in this month's kit. The picture is of my best friend and her newborn baby girl 10 days after the baby was born.

Hello, My name is Lisa Blastick (aka) kaye222. I'm hugely addicted to scrapbooking. I started my first page in the beginning of May 2006. Since then, I have finished many albums. Of course, I soon found out there is no finishing.... I have been very fortunate to be published in Scrapbooks Etc. and Creating Keepsakes issues, as well as online scrapbooking websites. I currently design for Heartfelt Creations and Donna Salazar Designs and love every minute of it! 

I'm also addicted to making cards now, too. I started creating them in May 2011, must be my month for starting new creations? I LOVE making them but always seem to forget to send them out??? lol.. I am a married mother of four young adult children!!! I have two girls (23,20), twin sons (22), and two spoiled rotten Italian Greyhounds. I have been an operating room RN for the past 16 years. I really like my job but I much rather be creating....all the time! Hugs...Lisa
