Vintage Flower Tutorial

Hi Ladies it's Karen!
I just wanted to share a quick tutorial on how to make a beautiful vintage inspired flower.
It's a relatively quick flower to make and no need for fancy punches. =) A plus!! =)
Step 1.
Cut 5 circles, whatever size you'd like your flower to be. To add more shape, I cut my flowers with a large scallop edge scissor. I then inked all my flowers.

Step 2.
Crinkle them all, this gives a more weathered look.

Step 3.
If you want more color in your flower, just sprits with some glimmer mist. This also makes the flower more manageable while you create it. Plus, gives it a gorgeous glimmer effect.

Step 4.
Proceed with gluing them in a layered manner.

Step 5.
When you get to your 3rd layer, while your glue is still wet, gather the center. This will give your flower more volume and seperate from the bottom layer.

Step 6.
When you have adhered your top layer, cut 3 slits into your flower. It does not matter where youcut the slits.

Step 7.
Add your center and lastly arrange your layers for more dimension.
If you want a thicker flower just add more layers.

Well that is all for now.
Be sure to stick around for our sneak collage of the August kit on July 26th and for the full reveal on the 29th! I will be using this flower on a project created with the kit. :p
See you then!
