Meet Our New Guest Designers!

It was a VERY tough decision to make.  We had so many wonderful applications from our Guest Designer call.  We would like to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to send in an application.  Whenever we put out a call, it is so humbling to see all the beautiful projects that are sent in!

Alas, there were only three spots available, and without further ado - let us present the three designers that were chosen along with a sample of their work.  Be sure and stop by their blogs so you can get to know them better, and leave them some love!

My name is Melissa Vettorel.  I have been married for 8 years and have 4 wonderful children.  Kevin is 13, Troy is 10, Kyle is 9, and Alexis is 4.  Yes, 3 rambunctious boys and a little princess, they are my true inspiration. My husbands in the Air Force so we move around every few years. We've been to Illinois, Guam, and now we've started a new adventure in Alaska.  Alaska is gorgeous and I love it.  Where else are you going to get such beautiful snow pictures? I was introduced to scrapbooking in 2007 by a friend and I haven't stopped since.  My hobby has long since turned into a crazy obsession, I'm sure my husband would agree.  Along with scrapbooking I love photography.  I never realized my true passion for it until I started scrapbooking.

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer for Scrap That! and I'm honored to be working with such a talented Design Team.

Hi Everyone! My name is Tina Rutledge. We have recently moved to the sunny state of Florida. I'm from Chicago, IL. and have lived there all my life, so I'm a city girl at heart. I have been married for 14 years to my wonderful and loving husband and we have 5 children. As a stay at home Mom, they definitely keep me busy, but are my inspiration. There are many things that inspire me and bring out my creativity. That is why I love scrapping! It allows me to challenge myself, bringing out the true expressions of my creative mind, in paper form. I also enjoy the positive energy it evokes.

My name is Robin Shakoor and paper crafting is my passion!  I live in Virginia with my husband, daughter, one spoiled puppy and three birds.  I am a Human Resources Manager by day and crafter by night.  I have been an avid paper crafting enthusiast since February, 2008.  While I enjoy all design styles, I would have to say that elegant, romantic and vintage are my favorites.   I enjoy incorporating a blend of these three styles into my projects, creating a visual experience for my readers.  I believe that crafting is a shared experience for both me and those who view my work.  Just knowing that I am teaching others through tips, tricks and tutorials on my blog brings me joy.  I like to encourage others to step out and try new things.  I believe that crafting is a personal journey and the roads we take along the way are different and special.

Each of these talented ladies will design for a two month term between April and September 2011, starting with Tina.

At the end of the term we will have a contest and let our members and subscribers vote on which of the three Guest Designers will remain for the rest of 2011!

So keep track of your favorite projects because it will be up to you to determine who stays with the Scrap That!DT.
