CROP-TOBER FEST!!!

GET READY.... GET SET... its time for CROP-OCTOBERFEST! We are hosting an ALL OCCASSION MINI CROP... with LOTS of challenges and fun to get going on some of those HALLOWEEN, Christmas, and birthday LO's and Cards you have been meaning to get too! Be sure to check it all out in the forum on WEDNESDAY... as there will be an official sign up area... and YES... PREGAME CHALLENGES to start us off! On Friday at 3 pm, we begin posting challenges... and it will carry through until Sunday! Can't wait for you to come and join us!!!

Do you want to be a GUEST DESIGNER?

Amanda and Lori, have created this awesome challenge for the next guest designer at SCRAP THAT!... TO CREATE YOUR OWN KIT!

Here are some details:

• it cannot be an already made up kit...you MUST put this kit together yourself!! We want to see your creative side!

In your kit, you must have the following:
1. 4 pattern papers
2. 2 cardstock
3. 4 different embellishments [flowers, buttons, ribbon, brads, eyelets, Woolies, etc.]
4. And because it is Ovarian Cancer month, you MUST have some TEAL and YELLOW in your kit somewhere

Next task, find a sketch [or email Amanda and she can get you some!] and create a layout {no smaller than 8-1/2x11} or a card set {card set = at least 3 cards} from your sketch AND you must use specific technique {embossing, paper piecing, etc.}.

You must have your entry posted in the gallery and linked here by September 25th MIDNIGHT EST. {My 5th anniversary!} The winner will be determined by the Design Team and will be informed of the guest spot by September 30th.

SEPTEMBER CHALLENGES!

Our new September Challenges are posted in the forum! Amanda has created an awesome card challenge for you, and I have an easy but FUN challenge- scrap your back to school photos! Be sure to come and check them both out! When you complete each challenge, you get entered into a draw for a RAK! How fun is that!

Don't forget took that you have until Friday to get your layouts uploaded for our August Sketch challenges! I can't wait to see who the winner will be!

AUGUST WEEKLY SKETCH COMPETITION!

A new contest has started for the month of August! LG Belarmino from the Philippines, one of our talented Scrap That! members - has created some AMAZING sketches for the contest! A new sketch will be posted in our forum every Saturday, and you can interpret the sketch any way you want! Sketches are so much fun to work with, and best of all you get some scrapping done!
