Rose Petal Flower Tutorial by Amarilys

Amarilys here and today I have a yet another flower tutorial for you today! It's a very simple flower tutorial that can be done in under 5 minutes! So, let's get started!

Supplies:
  • loose flower petals  from ScrapThat! Kit
  • purple pearls from ScrapThat! Kit
  • glue dots or hot glue gun

Step 1. Cut out a 1" circle from a thicker material such as cardstock or thin chipboard. Make 5 little marks and start adding petals on each of the marks.

Step 2. Your first layer will look like this.

Step 3. Keep building your flower by staggering your petals to add dimension.

Step 4. For the last 3 petals, pinch each petal to give extra dimension before adding them.

Step 5. Your flower should now look like this. Notice how thick and luscious it look at this point!

Step 6. To finish it off, add different size pears to its center and now you have a custom made flower (you can mist it, add stickles, etc) that you made yourself but it looks store bought!

Here's my flower on my layout. Doesn't it look like I went out and bought it? I just love how this turned out!

Thanks for stopping! I hope that you are inspired to make something with this amazing kit! If you want to see more of my creations, please stop by my blog.
